Fable II has gimped couch co-op. You can read about both Fable II and III co-op here. That said, I really liked Fable II as a single-player game. I never played Fable III or Sacred 2, so I can't comment on those. I loved both Left 4 Dead games, and they have good splitscreen co-op. Same thing for both Borderlands games.
I feel like multiplayer should be invite co-op of up to a limited number of players. People should be able to play the new Fable solo if that's what they want but it'd be super dope to be able to invite a friend to play with you kind of like as 2 heroes working together.
