Yeah I bet you my soul that if someone with good ears picks a sound to sample on youtube and puts it in their song and mixes it correctly given the sounds that are already there that literally no one, not even the best engineer of all time, will notice at all that it was ripped from youtube. But yes, sure it's lossy.
