Hello! Have a Ducato 2,8 jtd 02 with Dethleff motorhome. When driving, speedometer suddenly stopped working and motorlamp on. Workshop replaced speedsensor but no response. Got speedometer wiring diagram and found that fuse F11 12v going to speed sensor K084 was blown. The wire connects also to E5030 and E5050.
If I input my Ducato’s VIN into the Chassis Check feature, the Fiat Camper system responds as one might anticipate it should. But if I input the VIN with, say 02729502 or 02904389 as the last 8 figures, or with a number that is one lower or one higher than mine, the system rejects it as being incorrect.
Disconnect the starter motor solenoid relay switch wiring. Remove the protective cover. Disconnect the push-on electrical connector. Remove the nuts. Remove the cable. Remove the starter motor solenoid relay switch. Remove the engine sensor/generator wires. Remove the bolts and ground wire.
Having spent a day trying to find the problem I can rule out starter motor as on removing it and checking; it runs fine. Seems no power signal is getting from the ecu to the solenoid. Ignition switch seems OK turning it energises the various relays but nothing to the solenoid.
Test Procedure: Safely disable the ignition or fuel pump so the engine won’t start. Connect one voltmeter lead to a clean spot on the starter case, and then the other voltmeter lead to the negative battery terminal. Set the meter to the one volt DC scale. With key-on-engine-off, voltage must not exceed 0.1 volts.

2005 ducato. immobiliser light comes on and kills the system. Reset is only after removing to 7.5 fuses. This will allow the van to start and last for about 4 starts. Any suggestions welcome. Both keys affected. I have a 1996 fiat ducato 2.5TDi based motorhome & cannot start it due to an immobiliser problem.
